Features
Minicel Type T foam is an extremely fine-celled material, ideal for projects and applications that require thicker and durable foam. Minicel Type T foam is a high-performance ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA) foam that is tougher and more resilient than crosslinked polyethylene foam. With a smooth, consistent feel, combined with superior physical and chemical properties, Minicel Type T is the solution for an array of jobs where durability is important. With its closed-cell density, Minicel Type T foam works great in applications such as thermal insulation, industrial gaskets, padding in sports and work equipment, shin guards, helmets, insulating hot tubs, yoga mats or exercise mats. Due to its low moisture permeability and high buoyancy, Minicel Type T has multiple marine uses, including boat deck mats, flotation equipment, custom seating, and padding in kayaks.
Minicel Type T's technical name is chemically crosslinked ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA).

Additional Feature for Minicel Type T200 Foam
Minicel T200 is UL Component Recognized for use in Flotation Devices. Currently, there are five different types of PFDs, each with different specifications depending on use. Minicel T200 is recognized as conforming to these needs. This product can be used in any PFD manufactured in the USA.
